Artist – Elina Rosenblum

Elina is a professional mosaic artist trained at Chicago Mosaic School, a professional level member at SAMA (Society of American Mosaic Artists), and the founder of NJ Mosaic Collective - the only local organization that supports amateur mosaic artists in the NY/NJ area.

Besides mosaic work and taking care of the family, Elina is also currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design at NYSID.

Born and raised in Ukraine, Elina moved to US in 1998, and now lives and works in New York metro area.

Elina's first education was in Computer Science and Math (Bachelor's from Brandeis, Master's from UPenn) followed by a successful career in IT as a Business Analyst / User Experience designer.

Since 2017 Elina has been cultivating her art practice, initially as a self-taught mural and decorative artist, and later studying mosaics, stained glass, and related subjects at Chicago Mosaic School.

Elina's private mosaic and stained glass installations, as well as public artworks, are found in New Jersey, New York, Chicago, and Barcelona.

Elina's passion is to transform spaces, utilizing materials creating rich effects in texture, color, and play of light, to create exquisite, luxurious, cozy, and unique spaces radiating joy and delight.

Elina's inspiration is rooted both in rich ancient folk art traditions, such as Slavic, Turkish, and Tibetan, as well as in the incredible spirit of Art Nouveau architects and artists such as Gaudí, Jujol, Cadafalch, Hundertwasser, and Klimt.
